Zürich Moon Circle - by Pia Simona

NEW MOON IN TAURUS
Friday, 15 May 2026 | 18:45ish-20:45ish | Atman Studio, Hotel Greulich Zürich
This is Zürich Moon Circle, a gathering for women and femmes who are done building lives that don't actually feel good to live in.The New Moon in Taurus is exact on Saturday 16 May at 22:00 CET - the circle is on the threshold, the night before.Taurus asks: what do you actually want, as opposed to what you think you should want? What is your body telling you that your brain keeps overriding? Where have you been mistaking obligation for desire?Aries asked who you want to be.
Taurus asks what you're building with that.New Moons are for planting seeds. This one sits between two full moons - the Pink Moon in Scorpio on 1 May and the Blue Moon in Sagittarius on 31 May. What you plant on Friday has two weeks to take root before fire arrives and activates it.Taurus is fixed earth, Venus-ruled, the sign of the body and its knowing - what you taste, what you touch, what you feel in your hips and the base of your throat. It governs what you value and what you're actually building, and whether those two things match. This circle asks you to come back into your body and find out. Not through thinking about it. Through feeling it.This circle includes somatic movement, a guided meditation, creative making with your hands, vocal toning, and a closing dance party (as usual) Also chocolate, dates and pomegranate, because Taurus.Limited to 12 participants (Only 8 left).

WHAT IS ZÜRICH MOON CIRCLE?
A fortnightly (every second Friday) gathering for women and femmes who want real connection -with themselves, with others, and with the living rhythms that, in their way, shape our bodies, our experiences, and the world around us.This is for the spiritually curious, the spiritually fatigued, or for anybody who is tired of chasing the next promise of transformation. If you want something grounded, cyclical, and honest, this space is for you.The world is on fire right now - literally and metaphorically - and so much feels out of our control. I'm not here to bypass that. But tending to ourselves isn't checking out; it's how we build the capacity to stay present and keep showing up. In a city like Zürich, where loneliness is real and building genuine connection can feel nearly impossible, having a space to land with people who get it - without having to explain yourself first - matters more than ever.No two circles are the same. Each gathering is guided by the energy in the room, what's true for us in the present moment, and the astrology of the lunation: the sign the Moon is transiting, the energy it brings, the themes it highlights, and the portals to self inquiry and curiosity it unlocks. There's no pressure to perform, nothing to make palatable, no need to be anything but yourself. Some nights we write, talk, or journal; other times we move, dance, play, rest, or drop into simple ritual - it's always shaped by the energy of the moment and the lunar cycle we're in.We meet under each New and Full Moon (every second Friday @ ATMAN Studio), working with its natural rhythm:New Moon: a time for beginnings, intention-setting, planting seeds (literally or metaphorically).
Full Moon: a time for clarity, harvest, and letting go; composting what no longer serves so something new can grow.We use astrology as a lens, not a rulebook. It isn't about fate or prediction; it's a practical tool for tuning into the lunar and zodiac cycles, as well as the cycles of nature and the seasons. We ground the sky back into our bodies, our days, our awareness, our choices. These cycles move through us and around us whether we notice them or not; like the Moon orbiting the Earth, or the Earth circling the Sun. But there's power in paying attention, in choosing to meet ourselves and each other inside those rhythms, and working with them to make life a little more meaningful, a little more easeful (or at least a little more interesting). The goal is that you'll leave feeling more at home in your own skin, more connected to yourself and your own cycle, and with a sense of being part of something real and alive.Bring a journal, a pen, and whatever helps you breathe.
So who's Pia?

I'm Pia Simona, born and raised in Sydney, and have been primarily living in Zürich for the last 15 years. I'm a practical astrologer, somatic release practitioner (always learning), longtime circle facilitator, ex language teacher, mum of 2 kids under 6, endometriosis haver-and-advocate, and champion of sincere, cyclical, embodied living. I blend astrology, movement, ritual, multi-sensory perception and real talk in circles and 1:1 sessions for people who want something honest, non-performative, and grounded in what's real for them. No mala beads, wellness jargon, or spiritual posturing required.I've been holding space and facilitating groups for years, drawing on a background in teaching, astrology, somatic work (The Spiral/Emotional Clearing, Shakti Rising/Elemental Dance, Pelvic Bowl Activation, Multi Sensory Perception Practitioner-in-training), and a loooooooot of lived experience. You don't need a uterus (I don't even have one anymore!), a belief system, or any particular experience to join; these spaces are for all women and femmes, full stop.
FAQ
Do I need to know anything about astrology?
Nope. Everything is explained in plain language, always. You'll learn what you need to know on the night - no homework, no prerequisites.
What if I've never been to a moon circle before?
Perfect. Most people haven't. There's no "right way" to do this - you'll be guided through everything, and you can participate as much or as little as feels right.
Do I need to share/speak if I don't want to?
Never. Sharing is always optional. Some people talk, some people listen - both are valuable and welcome.
What if I can't afford the full price?
The standard ticket is CHF 55, or CHF 88 if you're bringing a friend (CHF 44 each). If that's still not accessible, reach out to me directly at [email protected] and we'll sort it. You're welcome here.
I'm trans/non-binary - am I welcome?
Yes, absolutely. This space is for all women and femmes, full stop. You don't need a uterus (I don't have one either), and you don't need to justify your place here.
What if I'm on my period/in pain/need to rest during the circle?
Listen to your body, always. You can sit, lie down, step out, or modify anything. There's zero pressure to participate in any particular way.
Can I come if I'm pregnant/postpartum/going through [insert life thing]?
Yes. Life doesn't pause for circles - bring yourself as you are, wherever you are.
What's the vibe/dress code?
Wear whatever helps you breathe and move comfortably. Some people wear leggings, some wear jeans, some wear dresses. It's not a performance - comfort over aesthetics, always.
Is this a therapy session?
No. This is a facilitated group gathering, not therapy. If you're in crisis or need clinical support, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Will this be recorded or photographed?
No. What's shared in the circle stays in the circle. Your privacy matters. If I am ever planning on photographing/recording for marketing purposes I will always ask for consent first.
I identify as a man - are there any circles I can attend?
I am currently taking expressions of interest for an all gender inclusive regular circle right here . Please fill out the interest form and I will keep you posted with information about when they launch!Informed consent is an underlying principle of my work and the way I live my life.Ready to join us?
